WHAT.

A qualified bravo to Bill O’Reilly.  And I cannot believe that there are fuckheads like Sandy Rios running around and being taken seriously by millions of people in America.

Whoa. Respect. At first I was like blah blah blah he’s only looking at this from a business perspective - but then he referenced how the communist witch hunts of the McCarthy era was wrong and that this controversy isn’t far from it. He’s right on two counts here (ignoring the obvious that gays should be treated equally) - one that companies have a right to hire whoever they damn please as a spokesperson so long as the person has not committed a crime; and two that a person or a group of people should not be singled out and discriminated against in a private business because of their personal life.

My one complaint here is the use of “lifestyle” in reference to Ellen’s homosexuality. It is not a fucking lifestyle. It is life. We do not choose to become gay, and for some more-righteous-than-thou person to come along and tell gays to suppress their homosexuality and live as a straight person is completely fucking wrong, damaging, and straight up hurtful. By commenting on Ellen’s “choice” to act upon her innate homosexuality, Sandy Rios believes that homosexuality itself is a choice and therefore it is perfectly fine to discriminate against. 

As a side note, every time my mother uses the word “lifestyle” when referencing my homosexuality I flip a fucking bitch and correct her, and then she backpedals and says she means my uh… fashion sense. Yeah right.
