He had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire. She is pregnant.
The firefighter was afraid of her at first, because he had never been around a Doberman before. When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest.
A photographer from the Charlotte, North …Carolina newspaper, “The Observer,” noticed this red Doberman in the distance looking at the fireman. He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do. As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies, and kissed him, just as the photographer snapped this photograph….

My first dog, Brandy, was a red doberman and looked just like the dog in the picture. OMG. SO CUTE. <3

Dollar Sign - Andy Warhol
I had a revelation in the shower today regarding art. First, I came up with a solution related to a design problem I have at my job, which I cannot nor do I want to discuss. Hopefully it works, because the show I am working on is frustrating me to no end.
But second… I finally figured out the meaning of this painting. I mean sure, the idea is quite obvious being that this is pop art, but I meant the deeper layers to the meaning. Warhol was critiquing the love of money in American culture - but I believe he was also critiquing the blind by any means necessary pursuit of it. The gold foil layer gives it that Byzantine “holiness” to it. The faux three dimensional red and cyan offset layers gives the $ its realism (if looked at through red/cyan 3d glasses). The bright uncomfortable pink background gives the $ something to pop off of, and the $ is the only thing to look at. Only $ is important here, just as the $ is the only thing important in life to many people.
/it’s past my bedtime.
On a sidenote, I wish Warhol was still alive. He would have a fucking field day with the Snookis and Kardashians of the world.
oh.my.god.! design idea! XD
/no really, my sprinklers came on.

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” - George Orwell, Animal Farm
Upcoming t shirt design for DBH. debating on whether or not to use the quote/legality of using the quote. If I do, it will be hand drawn in the same manner as the unicorn’s head.
